I remember meeting Jessica about 8 years ago. We both were part of a fashion show charity fundraiser called "Rock the House" helping support music and art. The night showcased many different talents in the industry that which included Varla Magazine. The event was packed with high fashion 5''10” drop dead gorgeous runway models to the drummer from No Doubt Adrian Young. I remember that only because he wore underwear all night and that’s it. Ha! My point is Jessica vividly stood out in my mind for being unique along with nothing short of a natural beauty. She had just the right amount of pretty, edge, style along with a great attitude that just doesn't go unrecognized. Over the course of years at events like Punk Rock Bowling, We shared the same team as well of us both being in Varla Magazine together, which SOLD OUT by the way.
Jessica was born & raised in Hollywood by Her father a proud American musician and her mother a British costume stylist /designer. They helped influence her passion towards the obvious things Jessica loves today like fashion, music & art and above all being an individual.
Growing up in the 80's she was fascinated by the era of music videos, the pop star, and pushing her style to the limits. She fell in love with 1970's and 80's rock, punk, and pop. The Clash, The stranglers, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, The Cars, Devo, Tom Petty, Talking Heads, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Queen, Blondie, INXS, The The, Fleetwood Mac, Squeeze, Heart, Tears for Fears, The Cure, The Smiths. Currently she’'s listening to a lot of old school Hip Hop like Biggie, Depending on the day, she might be blasting Girl Talk out the widow of her 1989 white Lincoln town car. She just scored 2 tickets to go see My Morning Jacket and she is taking her amazing mother with her to the show.

"Things that make me feel sexy... A good pair of high heels, wearing sexy lingerie under my clothes. Paying my bills on time, summer dresses, warm nights, cold drinks! The perfect pink lipstick, doing a striptease to The Cults, She Sells Sanctuary, couples massages, going out with my wonderful sexy girlfriends and champagne."
Jessica has done nothing but get better & better and has grown more & more into a real work of art. The past 8 years Jessica has worked hard to become an accomplished Hair Stylist & Make up Artist. Working her way into some of the best beauty salons in LA, where she just finished doing hair on a film with Charlie Sheen, Bill Murray, and Jason Schwartzman, written and directed By Roman Coppala. Jessica is now at Works Of Art Salon in Los Feliz. Jessica Faraday is now booking all appointments through (213) 864-7532 text or call. Q&A
RMTV: Do you like to sing karaoke? What song can you not stop yourself from doing?
Jessica: I COULD go to a bar and sing karaoke, but if you have ever lived with me, you would know that karaoke is alive and well in my house. I like to start with Queen, "don't stop me now" in the mornings when someone in the house is still sleeping, then SURPRISE!
I'm running around, jumping on their bed, naked as a jay bird, singing at the top of my lungs. That, my friend, is how Jessica Faraday does karaoke!
RMTV: What's the dumbest purchase you ever made?
Jessica: Oh boy! This is a loaded question! First off, I love old cars, beautiful old cars. I also like to buy cars that make me feel like a 1980's pimp. You know, the brown, two door, poor mans caddie, a bright yellow 83 sting ray, the white 89 Lincoln town car. You can fit a lot of fine honeys in the back of a town car. Then there was the jag with faulty electrics that caught fire on Hollywood blvd. while I was on my way to Pilate's. All dumb purchases, but damn did I look good.
RMTV: If you had one word to describe yourself, what would it be and why?
Jessica: Firecracker. Is that one word? Who cares? It works for me. POP! BANG! SIZZLE! Colorful, unpredictable excitement. It’s usually all fun and games until someone loses an eye, right?

RMTV: Tell us what Jessica does to get through a ruff day?
Jessica: Do you have an outfit or a pair of shoes that you love more than anything, and when you wear it you know you look amazing? I call this outfit my "super hero costume". No matter how shitty I feel, I can conquer almost anything. A bright lipstick and sexy pair of heels can really make my day!
RMTV: "Hypothetically" You’re a Mom, would you rather your daughter be slutty or have NO friends?
Jessica: Well, this is easy! I love my friends, and most of them are sluts, guys included. Use condoms, be safe, and love yourself no matter how slutty you are... and your friends will love you too.
RMTV: What is one band you would do just about anything to go see live? …and why?
Jessica: If only I could go back in time! I would need a time machine to see my favorite bands play. I would break the time space continuum to see The Clash play in 78.
RMTV: You are driving in the middle of the night and your car over heats, no cell service. You're alone and not so sure where or what's around. There’s only one small street light on, The store looks shady and maybe out of business. There’s a mini van parked around back with one door wide open. You can hear a very loud dog barking aggressively. Finish the story with what you do and what’s going on there?
Jessica: This has actually happened to me. It is such a horrible feeling to be alone on the road without assistance. Luckily I have AAA, and I've managed to get to a phone. I have a theory about situations with the potential to get dangerous and creepy. When the going gets weird, get weirder! No one wants to fuck with you if you act like an escaped mental patient, and no one wants you sticking around. Not even in their creepy rape van. If that doesn't work, hitchhike to nearest farm house, find cute farm boy, and enlist his help in the romance novel that is now your life.

RMTV: Tell us girls what your best kept secret is when it comes to hair and whats something we should never do to it?
Jessica: I love Joicos new reconstructor. It muscularly bonds to your hair to strengthen, smooth, and add shine. This is especially good for chemically dependent girls like me! Also, I would never cut my own hair, and I always rely on a great hair stylist to do my color. Boxed hair color from the super market is a hair stylist’s worst nightmare. Also bleach over bleach over bleach equals breakage.
RMTV: You have been sentenced to death by the Electric Chair and the time has come for you to turn in the request for your last meal. Tell us from top to bottom what's on the menu?
Jessica: For my last meal I would be happy with Pizza, New York Cheesecake, and champagne. The countdown begins!
